At Christmas Feast at the Circus, a long dinner table becomes the starting point for juggling, aerial acrobatics and a family celebration that refuses to go to plan. The show opens at Rīgas cirks on 18 December 2026, with daytime and evening performances through 10 January 2027.
A daytime performance can give a winter trip to Riga an easy rhythm. See the circus around lunchtime, then decide how much of the afternoon to spend outdoors. An evening show leaves the day free for exploring the city before heading to the arena.
🎪 What happens around the table
Director Jason Dupree and choreographer Alise Bokaldere bring dance and theatre into the circus ring. A tablecloth with a life of its own is part of the story. Watch what happens when a familiar family scene starts to make room for balancing acts and performers moving high above the table.
The show runs for 90 minutes, including a 20-minute interval. There is spoken Latvian, and the circus describes the story as easy to follow through the action. If your group speaks another language, the juggling and movement give you plenty to follow together. The venue says a programme booklet will be available before the show.

🎟️ Check seats, access and tickets for children
Rīgas cirks says seating is unassigned and describes a front area with cushions for children. Leave time to find a spot together. The venue also lists wheelchair access and an induction loop. Check the show page for access details and contact the circus if you need help with a particular seating arrangement.
The circus’s English page recommends the show for ages three and up, while its Latvian page lists it for all ages. If you are bringing a child under three, confirm the current age guidance and which ticket to buy with the circus. Use the seller’s listing for the price of the ticket category you need.
✨ Give your circus day room to breathe
For a noon performance, plan a relaxed breakfast and keep the afternoon flexible. If the market is open on your chosen date, a stroll around Dome Square makes a natural second stop. Check the holiday hours in our Riga Christmas Market guide before you go.
For an evening performance, choose an early meal and leave the time after the show open. A winter break often feels more relaxed with one fixed plan each day, especially if the group includes younger children.
