What happens when Mozart’s musical world meets Metallica’s energy? DAGAMBA’s MOZARTALLICA makes that encounter the centre of a concert at Xiaomi Arēna in Riga on Saturday, 19 December 2026, with the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra listed alongside the group.
For a December city break, it is a distinctive evening to build a weekend around: an arena concert with a Latvian musical identity, plus time for the city before the show. Here are the practical details to check before booking.

🎶 Why Mozartallica stands out
DAGAMBA performs its own interpretations of music associated with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Metallica. The programme brings classical and rock traditions into the same musical conversation, drawing on the group’s classically trained background.
The artist’s calendar and ticket listing also name the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra. That makes this a particularly interesting choice for visitors curious about Latvia’s musicians: the attraction is a collaboration between performers and musical worlds, rather than simply a familiar concert label.
You can follow the concept without arriving with a list of Mozart works or Metallica albums to recognise. Listen for the ways melody, rhythm and musical character can connect across styles. The official description introduces the crossover idea; a detailed running order has not been confirmed in the sources linked here.

🎟️ Read the ticket price through to the total
At our 29 October check, Biļešu Paradīze displayed tickets from €35 and a booking button. Its event conditions state that an arena service charge of €2.50 applies to each ticket. Compare the final amount for your chosen seat or category, including any applicable charges, before completing your purchase.
Different categories can have different conditions, and a visible starting price does not guarantee a particular seat will remain available. Use the event’s own booking link to check the current choices. If you are considering a VIP ticket, read the specific category description rather than assuming every ticket includes the same extras.
The ticket page currently states that children under five may enter free without occupying an additional seat. If that affects your booking, confirm the arrangement with the seller or organiser for your group.
🎧 A good choice for a mixed-taste weekend
This is an appealing idea for travel companions who enjoy different kinds of music. The programme’s starting point offers both a classical connection and a rock connection, with a shared evening to talk about afterwards.
It can also work as a first encounter with DAGAMBA. Begin with the group’s official description and decide whether the musical combination appeals to you. Build the trip around the performance itself, leaving room to discover Riga at your own pace.
🎄 Give the daytime its own plan
A Friday-to-Sunday stay, 18–20 December, leaves Saturday’s concert evening clear. Choose one daytime activity you especially want to do, then keep the rest of the schedule flexible.
- For interiors and design: read our Riga Art Nouveau Museum guide and check the museum’s current visiting arrangements before choosing a time.
- For a festive walk: LiveRiga lists the Old Town Christmas Market in Dome Square from 27 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, covering this concert weekend. Check its detailed daily hours separately.
- Before the show: make an early dinner part of the plan, allowing enough time to reach the arena for the performance.
Keeping the daytime simple gives the concert room to be the main event, while still making the trip feel like a Riga weekend.
🏟️ Keep the venue and return journey clear
Use Xiaomi Arēna, Skanstes iela 21 as your destination. Choose the journey from the address of the apartment you actually book; this guide does not assume a fixed walking time or a particular transport route.
The venue lists 22:00 as the end of the performance. Check your return options when planning the evening, and leave some flexibility around the listed finish.
